Tamworth's Urgent Care Clinic at Northwest Health

Northwest Health is excited to announce that our Tamworth premises is the chosen location for the new Urgent Care Clinic (UCC), due to open end of October of 2023. Medicare UCCs will operate extended business hours, accept walk-in patients, and provide bulk-billed services resulting in no out-of-pocket cost to the patient.

The clinic is part of the Australian Government’s commitment to establishing 58 Medicare UCCs across Australia, including 14 in New South Wales. UCCs are expected to play a vital role in providing quality medical care to the residents of Tamworth and its surrounding areas.
