Dr Syed Muntasser

Dr. Syed Muntasser (Monte) Islam holds an MBBS from the University of Western Australia (2009) and MBA with first class honours from the University of Melbourne (2023).

Monte completed his internship and residency at Royal Perth Hospital and has worked for 10 years in Australia’s top tertiary hospitals including:

•         Victoria (The Alfred, The Austin, Peter Maccallum Cancer Centre, Royal Melbourne Hospital)

•         Tasmania (Launceston General Hospital)

•         Darwin (Royal Darwin Hospital)

He enjoys all aspects of patient care, with special interest areas in Cancer Medicine (Radiation Oncology and Medical Oncology).

Monte is also a specialist in Life Insurance having worked for 5 years with AustralianSuper / TAL in the assessment of Income Protection, Total and Permanent Disability (TPD) and Terminal Illness claims.

In his spare time, Monte enjoys spending time with his family, road biking, gardening (with varying degrees of success) and getting recommendations for new shows to watch on Netflix.
